Happy Birthday to Meeeee!

Janibop started my birthday out right by taking me to IHOP for my birthday breakfast, complete with a surprise ice cream sundae. YUM!

THEN, later that day, my wonderful Voisin family celebrated with me too!

YUMMY Sarah Cake!

Time Out for Cajun Women

Several sisters from my ward gallivanted off to Houston to the Time Out for Women conference there. We had such a blast!! The road trip was just as fun as the conference.

We met Sheri Dew, Janice's hero.

Caught up with old friends since moved away - YEAH Brandi!!

And rubbed elbows with celebrities. Jenny Jordan Frogley is so talented!

Funny Farm

Janice and Howard invited our family and a couple other families over to have a "Farm Day." They made burgers and hot dogs and let us pet their cows and horses. We all had a great time!

The Saints Came Marching In

Kevin and I scored Motivatit's season ticket seats to the Saints V the Packers Monday night game this year!! Woohoo, 20th row! We had a total blast. We invited our great friends the Wortheys. Janice must be the biggest Packers fan born - well, at least whom I've ever met.

Kevin and Janice made a bet that whoever's team lost, the other would have to wear the winning team's paraphernalia down the walk of shame back to the car. Poor Janice. That jersey must have weighed a thousand pounds. She didn't utter one crack until her was permitted to take it off at the car. She was quite a brave cheesehead, though. She cheered louder than our entire section of Saints fans each time the Packers scored - which happened rather often. The Saints just scored MORE often, lol.

Horsing Around

Janice let Ellie and I come visit Sassy the Horse and her little cow family. Janice's sister-in-law Patty drove us around their property in her golf cart. We got to pick wild flowers, pet the animals and skip rocks in the Intercoastal Canal. It was an awesome day.

I couldn't help but think we were honoring my sister Becky, the horse lover, on her birthday while we fed Sassy. Love you Beck!!

This cow LOVED Ellie's petting and came back for more, lol. Poor Elle!
