Meet Camille

Meet Camille.

Camille and her Shadow (a.k.a. Huntie).

She is a musician in the BYU-Idaho Symphony Band. As the stake activities chairman, this month I got to welcome the Symphony Band to the New Orleans Stake Center as part of their Southern US Tour. Hunter helped me throughout the day and fell in love with Camille (who just happens to resemble, in Huntie's opinion, Nim in her new favorite movie Nim's Island). We had a great time with the band here.

They joined our ward crawfish boil and danced with the Cajun Band. Their performance later that night was AMAZING! The next day they prepared an inspiring fireside for our stake's youth as well. It was such a great weekend. They were a symbol of excellence and rekindled in me a desire to create and sharpen my talents. It was so neat to have them here - it felt like a little piece of home.
