Elle PeePeed in the Potty!

Yes, our gorgeous mullet-haired 19-month-old baby girl peepeed in the potty today. Completely on her own volition, she asked to go peepee and had complete success!! Hooray - it's the beginning of the end of the 8-year diaper riegn at the Voisin home!

Snakael Ernest Voisin

Introducing Snakael Ernest Voisin. Michael's class is finishing up the letter Z today and got to dress as their favortie zoo animnal. Michael chose the snake. Thus, Snakael was born. Here he is in all his snakey glory.

What a Fishy Day!

A fun day at the aquarium with cousins Dyami and Scottie!

Emily with Ellie Bellie and Scottie Bot.

Aunt Jenn, Scottie and Voisin Cousin #7 (on the way).

Amy "Mamoo" and DiDi Rama.

Oh my gosh! DiDi and Michael are being eaten by a giant shark!!

Elle was so amazed by EVERYTHING at the aquarium! She ran from exhibit to exhibit pointing and jumping and telling us all about it. Here is looks like she's about to rush to the next tank. Thank goodness for her squeaky shoes on this trip or I would have lost her a dozen times. Yes, my 18-month-old can totally out run me - at least through crowds of school children and their meandering chaperones.

Hunty the Biker Chic!

Hunty learned to ride a two wheeler! Her daddy ran with her around the entire neighborhood block until she had it and could ride all on her own! Now we can barely keep her off her bike. She's a true biker chic.

Squeakers

Elle's Busted Nose

Just moments after falling 4 feet onto her face.
This poor kid can't seem to get her hands in front of her fast enough to break her own fall. She slipped out of the front seat of her uncle's truck onto the pavement onto her hands and knees. Her nose still slammed onto the ground. We were pretty sure she broke her nose this time.

About an hour later.

Two days after. No brake.

Three days after - excellent bruising. Just one week later, no bruising or swelling at all. Just a tad fiesty, as always. Babies heal so fast.

Galveston Island Beach

Elle did not start out so keen on the idea of the beach and its ever-approaching sea.

But once she realized she wasn't going to die . . .

. . . she really started to have a blast!

I'm pretty sure the wet sand was all of the kids' favorite toy.

It was great for throwing, sculpting, slathering all over the body, squishing your toes in, burying your sister in, you name it!
