The Baptism of HunterEve

HunterEve in the baptism dress she designed. She looked like an angel.
Her daddy baptized and confirmed her. Her Grandpa Adams, Papa Mike, Uncle John, Uncle Sam, David Hulbert, Bo Smith, Ron Mangles, Bishop Stock, Tom Tew and Joe Stock all participated in confirming her a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and giving her the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

Cousin Chris supported Hunty on her big day. He even offered the closing prayer! He's so handsome in his white shirt and tie.

Grammy sang If the Savior Stood Beside Me for Hunty.
Mommy gave a talk on the Gift of the Holy Ghost and Michael and papa spoke on Baptism.

Hunty had so many friends and family come to support her. They all made us feel so loved.

Fresh out of the waters of baptism, Hunty was glowing. Her mommy showed her her reflection in the mirror and explained to her that she she was clean and pure and perfect. Her Heavenly Father is so proud of her. Her mom and dad are so proud of her.

Kevin's baptizing Hunter was so sweet. He was so nervous he had to start over again once. It was a privilege to see Hunty's daddy baptize her and to see the love he has for her in his eyes.

Hunty's grandma Adams came from Austin just to see Hunty get baptized.
She played the piano too.

Bishop Stock with Hunty. He conducted the baptism and welcomed her to our ward.

Amy Larpenter is the Primary president. We were so excited she was there and welcomed Hunty into Primary.

Grammy made this glorious cake for Hunty. It's a white cake with strawberry filling and a cherry cake with whipped cherry filling. SO delicious! Hunter chose this sculpture to be on top of the cake, "Happiness." Her grandma painted one of the bluebirds of happiness white to represent the Spirit and remind Hunty that we are only truely happy when we are doing what's right and following the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Aunt Sally was a huge help, as always. We're so glad she came :).

Grandpa Adams balanced his two littlest grandbabies,
Elle and James - born only two weeks apart.

Hunty's first set of scriptures! Woohoo!

Oh man did we have fun! Cousins Chris, Enoch, Feilding and James joined Michael in some craziness.

So sweet. So clean and pure.

We were so grateful to have had so much of our family near for this special day. Grammy and Papa, Uncle Greg, Aunt Jenn, Scottie, Aunt Sally, Christopher, Aunt Sandy, Brett, Nathanial and Roland, Aunt Alicia, Grandpa and Grandma Adams, Uncle John, Aunt Arien, Sage, Feilding, Enoch, James, and Uncle Sam. Not to mention Hunty's mom and dad and brother Michael and sister Elle were there too. Those who could not come in person were felt in spirit.

Hunty and cousin Sage doing some late night cousin bonding.

A gift to Hunty from her mommy.
